WILD
THINGS
Wild Things is about reconnecting with the natural world through creativity, curiosity and a little bit of wonder.
MEET SHELLEY
Wild Things was created by Shelley, a Forest School practitioner with a love of nature, creativity and helping people discover the extraordinary in the everyday.
With a background in education, professional event planning and creative workshops, Shelley brings together years of practical experience with a passion for the natural world. From outdoor adventures in schools and nurseries to seasonal workshops, community events and celebrations, she loves creating opportunities for people to connect, explore and make something wonderful.
Alongside her Forest School training, Shelley has undertaken first aid and dementia care training, holds an Enhanced DBS certificate and has experience working with children and adults with additional needs and disabilities. Her approach is thoughtful, inclusive and adaptable, recognising that everyone experiences and connects with the world differently.
At the heart of Wild Things is a simple belief: creativity and connection with nature belong to everyone. Whether that's discovering tiny worlds beneath our feet, making something beautiful from woodland treasures or sharing a little seasonal magic, Shelley believes there's a little wildness and creativity in us all.
Sometimes, we just need a little encouragement to let it out.
Inspired by the changing seasons and the wild things growing all around us, our experiences are an invitation to slow down, look closer, create and connect — with nature, with each other and with the world around us.
