Welcome to Wild Things!

We want everyone to enjoy their experience with us. These terms explain how our bookings, cancellations, refunds and purchases work.

1. Booking Workshops and Events

All public workshops, children's sessions, nature clubs, family events and seasonal activities must be booked in advance unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is required when booking online.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been accepted and you receive confirmation.

Please check the date, time, location and any age recommendations before booking.

2. Cancelling a Workshop or Event

We understand that plans sometimes change.

The following cancellation arrangements apply to adult workshops, children's activities, family events and seasonal experiences.

Seven days or more before your event:

You may cancel for a full refund.

Less than seven days before your event:

Please contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to offer an alternative date or transfer your booking where availability allows.

If a refund is requested, we may deduct reasonable costs and losses directly resulting from your cancellation that we cannot recover. Any remaining balance will be refunded.

Where we successfully resell your place at the original price, we will provide a full refund.

Unable to attend?

Please let us know as early as possible. You may be able to transfer your place to another suitable participant, provided we are notified before the event.

Refunds for missed sessions are subject to the same fair cancellation arrangements.

These arrangements do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

3. Children's Sessions and Family Events

Our children's activities and family experiences are designed to be welcoming, creative and engaging.

Each event description will explain the intended age range and whether parents or carers must remain during the session.

For family sessions, parents and carers remain responsible for supervising their children.

For sessions specifically advertised as drop-off activities, we will provide information about registration, emergency contacts, collection and supervision arrangements.

Please tell us about any accessibility requirements, allergies or additional support needs that may affect participation so we can discuss appropriate arrangements.

We ask everyone to follow reasonable safety instructions to help keep activities enjoyable and safe.

4. If Wild Things Cancels an Event

Occasionally, we may need to cancel or postpone an activity because of severe weather, illness, insufficient bookings or circumstances beyond our control.

If we cancel an event, you will be offered:

• A full refund, or

• An alternative date if you prefer.

If an event is significantly changed, we will explain your options, including any applicable refund rights.

Outdoor activities may be adapted to suit changing weather and safety conditions.

5. Private Bookings, Schools and Community Events

Private workshops, school programmes, community sessions and commissioned events may require additional planning, materials and preparation.

Prices, payment arrangements and any specific cancellation notice periods will be agreed in writing before the booking is confirmed.

Any cancellation charges will be fair and reflect reasonable losses that cannot be recovered.

6. Creative Kits, Wreath Boxes and Garland Boxes

Wild Things creates seasonal craft boxes and nature-inspired activity kits.

Each product description explains what is included.

Because we work with natural and seasonal materials, the exact greenery, decorations and other components may vary from photographs.

Any substitutions will aim to maintain the advertised quality, value and character of the product.

Cancelling an order or requesting a return

For goods covered by the statutory online cancellation right, customers normally have 14 days after receiving their order to notify us that they wish to cancel, followed by a further 14 days to return the goods.

Some goods containing fresh materials that deteriorate rapidly, or products made to a customer's individual specifications, may be exempt from this change-of-mind cancellation right. Where an exemption applies, we will make this clear before purchase.

Your legal rights remain unaffected if products arrive faulty, damaged or not as described.

Please contact us promptly if there is a problem with your order so we can arrange an appropriate remedy.

7. Local Delivery

Free local delivery is available for eligible products within the postcode areas shown at checkout.

Seasonal deliveries take place on selected dates, with delivery arrangements communicated to customers.

Please ensure the address and contact information you provide are correct.

If we are unable to fulfil your order, we will contact you to discuss alternatives or provide a refund.

8. Participation and Safety

Some Wild Things experiences involve natural materials, outdoor environments, creative tools and practical activities.

Participants are expected to follow safety guidance and use equipment appropriately.

Activities may be adapted where necessary for safety, accessibility or weather conditions.

Photographs of participants will only be taken or used for promotional purposes with appropriate permission.

9. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms removes or restricts your rights under UK consumer protection law.

Bookings for leisure activities taking place on specified dates will generally not qualify for the standard 14-day online cooling-off period. Our event cancellation policy explains the additional flexibility we offer.

Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method.
